The Mekong Migration Network (MMN), jointly with the Legal Support for Children and Women, is organizing the ‘Workshop on the ASEAN Integration and Labour Migration in the Mekong’, 16-17 March 2015, and the ‘MMN General Conference (GC)’, 18-19 March at the Imperial Garden Villa & Hotel, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The workshop is aimed at providing an opportunity for participants representing various organisations including civil society organisations, inter-governmental organisations (IGOs), research institutions and private foundations to strengthen the understanding of the link between ASEAN integration and labour migration in the Mekong, and exchange their knowledge on ASEAN human rights mechanisms and jointly explore areas of action. The outcome recommendations will also feed into the action planning of the MMN.

The General Conference held on 18-19 March is bi-annually held conference where all the MMN members are invited to attend. During the GC, participants will update each other on the issues and strategies, review the work MMN has carried out the past 2 years and jointly develop the work plan for the next 2 years.
