MMN published “Legally Binding: A Summary of Labour Laws in the Greater Mekong Subregion” in October 2011 and launched this online version of the printed booklet in December 2011. The online Legally Binding: A Summary of Labour Laws in the Greater Mekong Subregion contains 14 key elements on labour protection in the Mekong countries, and specific information on each Mekong country is listed under each Section’s “Countries Information” tab. As there are constant development and changes in laws, this online version is designed in a way that the MMN secretariat can easily update and revise relevant labour laws/legislations and sections of the labour law website. The online version will be regularly updated, and new labour laws in the Mekong countries, and in most cases their key elements, are added to relevant sections of this online version as they come out.
